ABOUT VINCE

Vincent D. Renzi is an attorney licensed to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, a master’s degree in business management from Purdue University and a law degree from Georgetown University.

After earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked on the manufacture of a new product line for Tambrands in Auburn, Maine, and on the first production run of the Patriot Missile System for Raytheon in Andover, Massachusetts.

Following his master’s degree, he worked for IBM as a financial analyst and as a marketing representative to the utility and health care industries on a commission based pay plan.

During and after law school, he worked for Judge Stephen Eilperin in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia; for Spriggs and Hollingsworth, a Washington based law firm practicing tort litigation; for Finkelstein, Thompson and Loughran, a Washington based law firm practicing securities litigation; for Litman Law Offices, a Virginia based law firm practicing intellectual property law; and as a solo practitioner.

He has experience in patent prosecution, securities litigation, administrative law, appellate law, family law and litigation of matters related to constitutional law, land use law and personal injury.

At home, he has been married to his first wife since 1991 and together they raised two children, of which the younger is attending Duke University and the older graduated from Duke University and is now attending a University in Hanover, Germany. 

For hobbies, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, skiing, rowing (sculling), tennis and golf.  He has hiked and skied throughout the United States, in Alberta and British Columbia, and on Alps in France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Bavaria and New Zealand.
